Exciting Free ‘Women in Tech’ Training Initiative from Oxford – Summer of Code
1 Million Women To Tech is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, set up by an Oxford and Harvard alumna with a decade of software engineering experience in the Silicon Valley, Ilona Budapesti. 1MWTT is dedicated to empowering women, companies and societies and fueling the rise of the digital economy, by providing technical education to women. Our mission is to offer free coding education to 1 million women by 2020.
SUMMER OF CODE 2018 is our 3-month flagship project, created by women for women and focused on bringing more females into software development by providing free coding education, expert mentoring and online community support.  We want to give all the enthusiastic women of the world the opportunity to take free and premium online coding courses and work in teams on programming challenges. The online 12-week programme combines self-directed learning and weekly hack-challenges and will run from 14th July to 14th October.
