TikToker killed in car crash days after boasting online about never getting in an accident

A high school senior who boasted on TikTok that she had never been involved in an accident was killed just days later when a car rammed into her vehicle.   Kara Santorelli, 18, was driving down Highway 29 in Escambia County, Florida, when a Chevrolet sedan came speeding the wrong way and smashed into her Nissan SUV, the Florida Highway Patrol said.   Santorelli died in the wreck which occurred on March 17. The other driver, who has yet to be identified, also died after being trapped in their own vehicle.   Following the fatal crash, Santorelli’s TikTok video, which was posted six days before the incident, has gone viral with more than 15 million views. In the video, the teen boasts about her safety record as she poses inside her vehicle with the caption: “When they try call me a bad driver but I’ve never hit a person or an actual car.”   Gina Southard, Santorelli’s aunt, said her family was heartbroken following the accident, writing on Facebook: “A little piece of my heart

Fake Naira notes are in circulation – NSCDC

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has raised an alarm of fake redesigned Naira notes being in circulation.  Commandant-General of the corps, Ahmed Audi, who stated that this has become worrisome, vowed to ensure the prosecution of all those involved.  Audi further disclosed that in less than a month, the corps had arrested and seized fake Naira notes worth millions from members of syndicates in different states in the country. The NSCDC Commandant-General who advised Nigerians to deal with banks especially when large sums are involved, added that the fraudsters took advantage of the low circulation of the redesigned Naira notes to massively produce counterfeit notes. Robbers invade Ibadan community with PoS machine

Eleshin village in Olomo community, Apete, in Ido Local Government Area of Oyo State was invaded in the early hours of Sunday, March 12, by robbers who reportedly operated freely.    Eyewitnesses told  Punch  that the robbers who carried out the attack around 1AM, stormed the area with a Point of Sale machine which they allegedly used to transfer money from the bank accounts of their victims.   A resident of the community said;    “The armed robbers got to the area at the midnight around 1am. They operated freely. They came with a POS machine and transferred some amount of money, which cannot be specified at the moment, from one of their victim’s accounts. They also transferred an undisclosed amount of money from his wife’s account and left. “They also went away with two phones, iPhone 11 Pro Max and XS Max.”   The case was said to have been reported at the Apete Divisional Police Headquarters.
