The Nigerian Army have come out to deny the allegations of moving death bodies to IDH mortuary, saying that the news is fake.

The Federal Road Safety Corps, Kaduna State Command, has confirmed an incident involving a fully loaded Liquefied Natural Gas tanker that caught fire in the Kwangila area of Zaria Local Government Area. The state Sector Commander of the corps, Mr Andrew Longkam, confirmed the incident in a statement on Sunday in Kaduna. Longkam said the tanker, belonging to Greenville Company, was parked by the roadside along the Funtua–Zaria road when a gas valve malfunctioned, leading to ignition and a fire outbreak. He said the fire affected some nearby shops and left three adult males with varying degrees of burn injuries. “The injured victims were promptly evacuated to Nakowa Hospital at Yangoro for initial treatment, and later referred to the Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital (ABUTH), Shika, for further medical care,” he said. Tragedy As 24-year-old man sentenced to death by hanging for beating his 65-year-old mother to death in Plateau

Justice Daniel Longji of the Plateau state High Court in Jos, has sentenced a 24-year-old man, Godwin Banchir, to death by hanging, for beating his 65-years-old mother to death just because she failed to respond to his greetings. Bachir was first arraigned on June 6th 2016 and charged with culpable homicide, contrary to Section 221 of the Penal Code punishable with death upon conviction. He is was said to have committed the crime on Jan. 21st 2016, when he used a stick to beat his mother to death. Banchir in his confessional statement said that he returned from the farm on the said date and found his mother sitting in the compound and when he greeted her, she ignored him. Fourth person cured of HIV

A man who has lived with HIV since the 1980s has become the fourth person to be cured of the disease as announced by AIDS researchers on Wednesday July 27.   The 66-year-old man named the "City of Hope" patient after the Californian center where he was treated, was cured of HIV after receiving a stem cell transplant for leukaemia.   He was declared in remission in the lead up to the International AIDS Conference, which begins in Montreal, Canada on Friday.   While the transplant was planned to treat the now-66-year-old's leukaemia, the doctors also sought a donor who was naturally resistant to the virus that causes AIDS, a mechanism that first worked to cure the "Berlin patient", Timothy Ray Brown, in 2007.   As well as being the oldest, the patient has also had HIV the longest, having been diagnosed in 1988 with what he described as a "death sentence" that killed many of his friends.   He has been on antiretroviral therapy (ART) to control his conditi...

The Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Ibrahim Magu has urged Nigerian students to desist from cyber crimes, popularly referred to as Yahoo -yahoo and all other forms of internet-related offences that could derail their destinies. Magu stated this on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 while delivering a lecture at the University of Ilorin on the dangers of internet fraud. The EFCC boss who was represented by Head, Advance Fee Fraud and Other Fraud Related Offences, Ilorin Zonal Office, Olamide Sadiq said anyone caught for offences bordering on internet fraud would be detained, prosecuted and jailed.
