Wayne Rooney's arrest for public intoxication was a result of feeling "disorientated" after taking sleeping tablets on a flight while drinking, says his spokesman. The former England and Manchester United captain was arrested on 16 December at Dulles International Airport in Virginia after returning from a one-day trip to Saudi Arabia. Rooney, 33, was charged and paid a $25 fine and $91 costs on 4 January, according to court documents from Loudoun General District Court. In a statement, his spokesman said: "During the flight Wayne took a prescribed amount of sleeping tablets mixed with some alcohol consumption and consequently was disorientated on arrival. "He was approached by police who arrested him on a minor misdemeanour charge. "He received a statutory automatic fine and was released shortly afterwards at the airport. The matter is now at an end. ASUU Calls Off Strike As FG Reaches Agreement With ASUU, Releases N15.4bn

The Federal Government has reached an agreement with members of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU). Addressing journalists on Monday evening after the meeting with the striking lecturers in Abuja, the Minister of Labour and Employment, Chris Ngige, said the majority of their demands have been met including the release of N15.4 billion for payment of salary shortfalls.  According to him, the Federal Government is also in the process of releasing another N20 billion for payment of earned allowances for university lecturers. Meanwhile, the ASUU President, Professor Biodun Ogunyemi, said the National Executive Committee of the union will review their decisions based on the new commitment by the government. According to him, it is only after that meeting of the ASUU leadership that the union will announce its position on the ongoing strike action. She was really heart broken after she made a deposit of 10k for the deal and later realized she was duped. She shared her story in a Facebook group. She wrote"This bastard here is a big scammer, She posted wigs for It I  sent money to her last month (December) She said she's on promo and it's gonna end In 2 days time. Residents of Kara in Sagamu Local government area were in amazing shock when they found a picture of an Oyibo man (white man) inside a calabash which contains eggs, palm oil and other fetish items. According to an eye witness, he said this is not the first time of things like this happening in the community as almost every young guy in Kara Sabo wants to own a car or get rich over night, hence the struggle for blood money. Another resident also said "that the picture was use to perform some certain diabolic means or rituals and anything the yahoo guy ask from the victim won't only be a wish but a command" According to saintbillion.blogspot.com the man's pics must have been gotten from any of the social medias like facebook, twitter or instagram.
