Two residents jailed three months for indiscriminate dumping of refuse in Lagos

Two residents, Kingsley Adieme and Rachel Onyekachi, were sentenced to 3 months in prison for indiscriminate dumping of refuse in Lagos State.

 The State Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, disclosed that the duo was arraigned before the magistrate court sitting at Bolade, Oshodi on Tuesday, April 7, 2026. 

 They both pled guilty, Wahab added.

NBA star Brandon Clarke has d!ed at age 29.   Clarke's de@th was announced on Tuesday, May 12,  by his team, the Memphis Grizzlies, and his agency, Priority Sports. Lagos clarifies sanitation modalities, warns defaulters ahead of April 25

The Lagos State Government has provided further details on the reintroduced monthly environmental sanitation exercise, set to resume on Saturday, April 25, 2026, with movement restrictions and enforcement measures in place. In a statement on Wednesday, the Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, said, “The exercise will hold every last Saturday of the month between the hours of 6:30 am and 8:30 am.
