Coronavirus Update; Passengers Crowded At Peace Park Nuskka

  It’s no longer news that the Covid 19 virus is causing more harm to the general public and the world at large. Passenger were stranded at Peace park Nsukka, due to shortage of buses to their various destinations and this resulted to a hike in price to the available buses. The reason for the high population was due to the quick notice issued to the occupants of the University Of Nigeria Nsukka hostel.
 Some passengers had no choice than to spent their night at the Peace pace in other to make book first bus tomorrow.

The previous fee which was assigned for late registration of courses was 500 Naira. But unfortunately the institution undated her site with this info The University Management has been inundated with requests for reopening of portal for the first semester 2018/2019 academic session. The unnecessary flexibility in opening of portal at the whims and caprices of students is not healthy for the system. US government increases work and student visa fees by 15%

The United States government has announced a hike in fees for certain non-immigrant visa applications (NIV).   The 15 percent increment affects the student visa, exchange visitor visa, petition-based non-immigrant visas for temporary workers and treaty applicants.    The statement released on the bureau of consular affairs website, travel.state.gov, and on the websites of US embassies and consulates, reads;    “These increases were published in the federal register on March 28, 2023, and will be effective on May 30, 2023. The fee for visitor visas for business or tourism (B1/B2s and BCCs), and other non-petition based NIVs such as student and exchange visitor visas, will increase from $160 to $185.  “The fee for certain petition-based nonimmigrant visas for temporary workers (H, L, O, P, Q, and R categories) will increase from $190 to $205. UNN RELEASED HER 2019/2020 SUPPLEMENTARY ADMISSION LIST II AFTER JAMB 2020 EXAMINATION

University Of Nigeria Nsukka released her 2019 supplementary admission list after  JAMB conducts her 2020 examination for the admission process. This is coming four months after the school released her merit list on the month of November 2019, and also after three months of intensive lectures by the freshmen. INEC warns of fake online registration portal

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has alerted Nigerians of the existence of a fake online site urging Nigerians to enroll for "voter card pvc" registration.   This comes barely 24 hours after INEC announced the suspension of voter registration across the country.   The fake online portal claimed that the Federal Government has approved PVC registration online to avoid the unnecessary crowd in the "NIMC".   INEC warned that the site is not linked to the Commission and the link/portal is spurious and from a dubious source.   The Commission said INEC is the only body constitutionally and legally mandated to conduct the registration of persons qualified to vote in any election in Nigeria and to update and revise the register when the need arises.   It reiterated that the Commission is solely responsible for organizing, undertaking, and supervising national elections in the country and does not share this responsibility with anybod...
