I am completely safe. I am not dead - EU man visiting Ekiti state says as he dismisses reports claiming Nigeria is not safe

A Caucasian man visiting Ekiti state has shared a video in which he dismissed claims that Nigeria is not safe.

 

The man who was quite excited, held the Nigerian flag while posing in front of one of a waterfall in Ekiti state.

 

In his video, the man said;

''Welcome to Nigeria. As you can see, a lot of people don't think that Nigeria is the safest country but that is not at all true. I am here in beautiful Ekiti state in the middle of the country at this amazing waterfall. I am completely safe. I am not dead. Everything is fine about this trip. Even though Nigeria gets a bad name in International media and news, None of that is true''

Russia-Ukraine war: Nigeria, Algeria, Niger planning to create Gas Pipeline to Europe

Algeria, Nigeria and Niger have signed a memorandum of understanding on construction of a vast gas pipeline project offering Europe potential future alternatives to Russian supplies.   The Trans-Saharan Gas Pipeline (TSGP) would transport billions of cubic metres of gas some 4,128 kilometres (2,565 miles) from Nigeria in West Africa, north through Niger and on to Algeria, according to a joint statement released by the three countries on Thursday evening,  July 28.   The statement says the gas could be pumped through the Mediterranean undersea Transmed pipeline to Italy, or loaded onto liquefied natural gas tankers for export.    Algerian Energy Minister Mohamed Arkab hosted Timipre Sylva and Mahamane Sani, his counterparts from Nigeria and Niger for talks on the project, Algerian state news agency APS reported.   The long-dormant project created in 2009 has galvanized more interest in recent months as gas prices have surged following Russia’s invasion of Uk...

Nollywood actress, Monalisa Chinda has revealed that the numbers used to communicate with her kidnapped colleagues can easily be traced. Monalisa, who is the Director of Communications of the Actors' Guild of Nigeria (AGN), took to Instagram to question the kidnap of actress Cynthia Okereke and actor Clemson Cornel after they didn't return home from a movie location. The kidnappers have demanded ransom of $100k. Expressing shock over the amount demanded by the kidnappers, Monalisa said she doesn't understand why anyone would think Nollywood actors have such money. Tinubu asks US Court to limit release of his University Records to Diploma Certificate

Nigeria's President, Bola Tinubu, has objected to the release of his Chicago State University (CSU) records to the candidate of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the last presidential election, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.   Tinubu pleaded on Monday, September 25, that if the court was inclined to grant Atiku’s application for discovery, it should be limited to only his diploma certificate he submitted to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in aid of his qualification for the 2023 presidential election.
