I dream of a world where dads can still be heroes - Kanye West says as he accuses Kim Kardashian of keeping their kids from him

Kanye West has accused Kim Kardashian of keeping their children from him and he also spoke about how his mother kept him away from his father.

 

The rapper took to Instagram to reveal that he wants to take his kids to his hometown, Chicago, but Kim is stopping that from happening.

He also wrote in an earlier post that when he was a child, his mother took him to Chicago and prevented his father from seeing him.

"I dream of a world where dads can still be heroes," he added. 

Kanye has been calling out Kim for days now over differences in parenting techniques.

26-Year-Old Corper Sanni Mariam, Passengers, Driver Die In Imo Road Accident

A 26-year-old female National Youth Service Corps, NYSC member, Sanni Mariam, of 2023 Batch C Stream 2, was among those who died in an accident in Imo State on Thursday. Other passengers and the driver were also reported dead when their vehicle had an accident en route to Lagos. It was gathered that Mariam was returning from her state of deployment, Benue State, and boarded a commercial bus heading to Lagos through Imo. According to information gathered by Vanguard, Mariam took a camp exit from Benue State. She was undergoing the three-week compulsory orientation. And camping was expected to end by Thursday next week. Mariam, a Computer Science graduate from Universite Protestante de Lafrique de l’Ouest, Benin Republic, was said to have won many awards for her platoon, including the Scrabble platoon game. Efforts to contact the Benue State NYSC State Coordinator proved unsuccessful. He was neither taking calls nor responding to messages at press time.

Lagos debtor arraigned for issuing fake cheque to creditor

A 31-year-old debtor, Musa Ayeni, was on Thursday, arraigned before Chief Magistrate P.E Nwaka, at the Yaba Magistrates’ Court, Yaba, Lagos State, for allegedly owing one Awosola Olusola, N1.7m, and for issuing him a fake bank cheque in the Shomolu area of the state. The Lagos State Police Command arraigned Ayeni on three counts of obtaining money under false pretence and issuing of fake cheque. According to the prosecutor, Thomas Nurudeen, the defendant, knowing that there was no money in his account, issued a fake cheque of about N2m to the complainant, an amount higher than what he owed. According to him, the offences debtor committed contravened Sections 314(a) and 319 of the Criminal Laws of Lagos State. The charges read in part, “That you, Musa Ayeni, on March 27, 2023, around 2.53pm, at No. 6, Adeola Street, Somolu, Lagos, in the Lagos Magisterial District, did obtain the sum of N1.7m from one Awosola Olusola, under the pretence of needing funds to execute a job orde...

Bank customers lose N472m to fraudsters in three months –Report

A report by FITC has revealed that bank customers in Nigeria lost N472m to fraud in the first quarter of 2023. It was also disclosed that there was a total of 12,553 cases of fraud recorded within this period. This was according to the Q1 report obtained by The PUNCH from the website of FITC. FITC’s institutional members are members of the Nigerian Banker’s Committee, which comprises the Central Bank of Nigeria, the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation and all licensed banks in Nigeria. The data, however, showed a decline in losses compared to what was lost to fraudulent banking activities in Q4, 2022. According to FITC, a total of N3.18bn was lost to fraudsters across banking platforms in Q4 2022, which meant that the losses declined by 85.13 per cent in Q1 2023. The FITC data also revealed that there was a 79.44 per cent decrease in the total amount involved in fraud cases in Q1 2023 compared to the previous quarter, with a decrease from N12.58bn to N2.59bn.
