Actress Thandiwe Newton reunites with her estranged husband Ol Parker for the first time since ending their 23-year marriage

Thandiwe Newton reunited with her estranged husband Ol Parker this week three months after announcing their split. 

The Hollywood star, 49, confirmed the end of her 23-year marriage with the director three in April amid claims of emotional troubles. She later moved on with toyboy musician boyfriend Lonr, 25, with the couple seen putting on a PDA-filled display back in May.

 It has been reported that Thandiwe has been suffering with emotional and family problems after separating from her husband Ol, with whom she shares children Ripley, 21, Nico, 17, and Booker, eight.


But on Thursday, July 28, the ex-couple were seen in a civil exchange with her estranged husband as Ol, 52, who handed a mobile phone to her in California.

The embattled actress is reportedly living with her musician lover Lonr following her recent split from husband of 16 years Ol. At 25, Lonr is four years older than Thandiwe and Ol's eldest child, 21-year-old Ripley.

Applicants will now get passports in two weeks - Minister of Interior

Nigeria's minister of interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, has stated that Nigerians would have to wait more than two weeks for an international passport anymore.   The minister, on September 7, gave the NIS a two-week deadline to remove all passport application backlogs. He added that the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) had cleared all the 204,332 passport application backlogs. Speaking on Wednesday, October 4 in Abuja while updating Nigerians on the status of the passport backlog in the country,Tunji-Ojo said: “No one will ever wait for two weeks to get passports again. If you apply and have been captured, you will get your passport within two weeks.” He noted: “Immigration service did three shifts to make sure that we clear the backlogs and to ensure that never again in the history of Nigeria, are we going to have a backlog. Man Narrowly Escapes Death After House Ceiling Collapsed On Him.

A man is lucky to be alive after narrowly escaping death following a mishap which occurred on Wednesday, September 12th in Imo state. According to Stephen Chidiebere Anoro from Owerri, Imo state, a portion of the house (the ceiling) fell on his brother while he was in the room but he narrowly escaped the tragedy and came out alive. An excited Stephen took to Facebook to share a footage showing aftermath of the incident as he wrote;  Friend and friends make una follow me thank God for savings the life of my brother yesterday being 12th September 2018.. Last year, four occupants of a two storey building on Fire Service/Mbaise Road died after the building collapsed at the early hour on Sunday. Abuja-Lagos highway to be completed in 2027, to last 100 years - Umahi

Minister of Works, David Umahi has revealed that the Abuja-Lagos highway will be completed in 2027 and will last for 100 years.    Addressing journalists on Saturday, September 23, Umahi said the proposed 470 kilometres Abuja-Lagos Greenfield superhighway will be built by a private sector consortium at no cost to the government.   The minister said the consortium will operate the facility for a yet-to-be-determined period on a build, operate and transfer deal. The nominations for the 2024 Grammy Awards has been announced, and top Nigerian artistes made the list.   Nigerian artistes, Davido, Burna Boy, Ayra Starr, Asake, and Olamide have all been nominated for the 66th Grammy Awards. Burna Boy bagged a total of four nominations, while Davido earned three nominations for the 2024 event.
