Don’t You Sometimes Wonder Why Men Aren’t Allowed To Cry — Pres. Buhari’s Daughter, Zahra, Asks Nigerians

Zahra Buhari, the daughter of Nigeria’s president, Muhammadu Buhari has waded into the popular claim that men don’ cry.
Reacting to a statement which reads ‘In Paradise we will never cry’, Zahra Buhari averred that sometimes you wonder why men are not allowed to cry.

According to her, these emotions were given to us to express, this if a woman can feel so can a man.
While some Nigerians took the seed or truth in her statement, others trolled her and dragged her into the post.

therealfemi wrote;”Men are allowed to cry. Cry if you have to. Better days are sure to come. You’re only human”

Meanwhile, Adaeze Yobo, the wife of former Super Eagles defender, Joseph Yobo has taken to social media to share the role she played that ensured the Super Eagles of Nigeria scored three points in their AFCON 2022 campaign.

Super Eagles clashed with Egypt in their first game of the Africa Cup of Nations tournament currently ongoing in Cameroon and they smashed the Pharaohs by one goal to nil that secured them three points after Liecester City midfielder, Iheneacho put the ball behind the net.

After their victory, Adaeze shared a video showing how she protected Nigeria’s goal post so that no ball from the opponent enters as she applied anointing oil on the goal post through the screen whilst watching with her kids at home.

Angry Youths burn police officer’s residence in Edo

Some youths in Evbuomama community in Ikpoba-Okah Local Government Area of Edo have set ablaze the residence of a police officer following the death of one, Glory Imarogie. The  News Agency of Nigeria  reports that the deceased was said to have died in a hospital after he was allegedly tortured at the Edo Police headquarters. He was said to have been arrested after he had an altercation with his landlord, a serving police officer, SP Austin Ehiziegbe. His landlord was said to have been annoyed because late Glory’s niece celebrated her birthday at his residence without his permission. A fracas was said to have ensued between the landlord and his tenant when the deceased and his brothers resisted attempts to stop the birthday party. Family demands justice as power-drunk vigilantes shoot Abuja orphans

The family of two brothers, Abdulmalik Abubakar and Ibrahim Abdullahi, have demanded justice after members of a vigilance group shot them in the Bobota/Dabi Kwali Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory. PUNCH Metro  gathered that the brothers were sleeping in their room on Sunday, July 9 when members of the vigilance group invaded the premises and suddenly started shooting. It was learnt that one of the bullets hit the two brothers in the leg and buttocks and in a bid to rescue them, the duo were rushed to the hospital for treatment. In a video made available to our correspondent, one of the brothers, Abdulmalik, while writhing in pain on the hospital bed, said he was shot because he refused to give members of the vigilance group his phone.
