Police and hunters arrest 3 kidnappers, rescue kidnap victim in Borno

Three members of a kidnapping gang have been apprehended by a joint team of police and hunters, at their hideout in Sakasimta village, Hawul Local Government of Borno State.

 The operation which came after a tip-off led to the rescue of one of their victims,  Manu Adamu. 

 Borno Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Sani Muhammed confirmed the arrest of the kidnappers and rescue of the kidnap victim.

 Sani said the suspects arrested have been identified as Buje Jalo, Buba Manu and Abdullahi Abubakar, and are helping in investigation aimed at arresting others still at large and rescuing the remaining victims.

 The police spokesperson further disclosed that two of gang members escaped with one of the victims who has not been identified.
