Kanye West under investigation by LA cops over battery case after rapper ‘got into a physical fight’


Kanye  West is under investigation by Los Angeles cops as a suspect in a battery case after the rapper "got into a physical fight."

 The alleged battery took place early Thursday morning, January 13.

 According to TMZ, the 44-year-old rapper got into an argument that allegedly turned physical around 3am in DTLA.

 Cops told the outlet that the incident occurred near the Soho Warehouse. It is not clear if Kanye was at Soho Warehouse before the incident took place.

Kanye allegedly pushed the other person, while the case is now being investigated as misdemeanor battery.

The crime carries a jail sentence that could last up to six months.

 TMZ also obtained a video of the rapper, which was shot either late Wednesday night or early Thursday morning. In the clip, Kanye was heard yelling: "Did y'all say that or not? Did y'all say that or not?  "Cuz that's what happened right f****** now."

Angry Youths burn police officer’s residence in Edo

Some youths in Evbuomama community in Ikpoba-Okah Local Government Area of Edo have set ablaze the residence of a police officer following the death of one, Glory Imarogie. The  News Agency of Nigeria  reports that the deceased was said to have died in a hospital after he was allegedly tortured at the Edo Police headquarters. Family demands justice as power-drunk vigilantes shoot Abuja orphans

The family of two brothers, Abdulmalik Abubakar and Ibrahim Abdullahi, have demanded justice after members of a vigilance group shot them in the Bobota/Dabi Kwali Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory. PUNCH Metro  gathered that the brothers were sleeping in their room on Sunday, July 9 when members of the vigilance group invaded the premises and suddenly started shooting.
