Comic actor, Imeh Okon aka Okon Lagos, has reacted to the video of the Director-General of Bola Tinubu Support Management Council, Abdulmumin Jibrin, dismissing questions about the presidential hopeful's source of income and his age.

Jibrin was on AriseTV a few days ago where he was asked to inform Nigerians about the source of wealth of Bola Tinubu and his age. Jibrin dismissed the question, arguing that emphasis should be on what Tinubu has achieved, how he turned around the revenue of Lagos and infrastructural development.   

Reacting to Jibrin's position, Okon Lagos opined that Nigerians should get their PVCs and not settle for any "recycled political ancestor that has past his prime." Read his post below

Patient dies after fight in Hospital as another patient is arrested on suspicion of murder

A patient has been arrested for murder after a fight in a hospital ward led to the death of another patient.   Staff at Rotherham District General Hospital, in South Yorkshire, called police after the brawl broke out between two of the patients at 8.54pm on Saturday, Feb. 12.   Officers have arrested a 47-year-old man on suspicion of murder, after a 48-year-old man died from his injuries in the early hours of this morning, Feb. 13.  Police have launched a murder investigation. A spokesman for South Yorkshire Police said the man’s family are being supported by specialist officers after yesterday’s tragedy.  They added: "Officers were called by a member of hospital staff at 8.54pm reporting that two patients had been fighting. "One of the patients, a 48-year-old man, died of his injuries in the early hours of this morning. Boko Haram, soldiers in gun fight, as residents flee

Boko Haram insurgents, yesterday, engaged soldiers in a gun fight in Maiduguri, forcing  residents to flee their homes. A resident, Zainab Kamali, said the insurgents struck in Jidari area of the city about 5pm.  “We were forced to abandon our homes for the bush… there’s serious confusion,” Kamali said.  Another resident who did not want his name in print, said the insurgents moved around the city as they were engaged by the military.  He said the sect attempted to infiltrate the town through Polo axis but were repelled by soldiers.  “They were at the cashew plantation axis of Maiduguri but soldiers engaged them in a serious battle,” he said. But Deputy Director, Army Public Relations, Colonel Kingsley Samuel, in a statement, urged the puclic not to panic and advised them to discountenance rumours of Boko Haram presence in the state capital. “The general public is please requested not to panic and discountenance rumours of Boko Haram presence,” the statement. said.
