Singer Yemi Alade clapped back at a fashion police who noticed a flaw in her outfit after she shared a photo on social media. 

 

The award-winning singer had shared the photo above on her Twitter handle with the caption;

 ‘’I'm Amazing, Extremely talented, kind and extraordinary .you would mistake me for an angel''


The fashion police did not hesitate to point out that her pop socks was torn. 

Ms Alade spotted the comment, found it distasteful and gave a response. See below

Applicants will now get passports in two weeks - Minister of Interior

Nigeria's minister of interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, has stated that Nigerians would have to wait more than two weeks for an international passport anymore.   The minister, on September 7, gave the NIS a two-week deadline to remove all passport application backlogs. He added that the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) had cleared all the 204,332 passport application backlogs. Speaking on Wednesday, October 4 in Abuja while updating Nigerians on the status of the passport backlog in the country,Tunji-Ojo said: “No one will ever wait for two weeks to get passports again. If you apply and have been captured, you will get your passport within two weeks.” He noted: “Immigration service did three shifts to make sure that we clear the backlogs and to ensure that never again in the history of Nigeria, are we going to have a backlog. President Buhari has just signed the 2019 appropriation bill of N8.91 trillion into law.    The national assembly passed the budget into law after increasing the budget size from its initial N8.83 trillion.  President Buhari while signing the budget said he will work with the incoming 9th National Assembly to return to the January-December budget cycle.  He also said he will work with the 9th Assembly to have a more workable document that will facilitate the development of the nation as intended in the proposal submitted to the National Assembly.

Niger: Russia, Burkina Faso, Mali oppose ECOWAS military intervention

Burkina Faso and Mali have warned that any military intervention in Niger to restore deposed President Mohamed Bazoum will be considered a “declaration of war against their two countries”. The warning from Niger’s military-ruled neighbours came a day after West African leaders, supported by their Western partners, threatened to use “force” to reinstate the democratically elected Bazoum and slapped financial sanctions on the putschists.
