Hazel, ex-wife of media personality Nedu has shared a cryptic post after he unveiled his 'Queen' on Instagram. 

 

Nedu unveiled his "Queen" months after he and Hazel engaged in a public face-off. 

 

Shortly after he shared the post, Hazel took to her Instastory to write about "emotional abusers".

The Federal Government has announced the death of Nigeria’s ambassador-designate to Algeria, Mohammed Mahmud Lele, who died at the age of 50. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs disclosed this in a statement issued in Abuja on Wednesday by its spokesperson, Kimiebi Ebienfa. According to the ministry, Lele died in the early hours of April 19, 2026, in Ankara, Türkiye, after a protracted illness. Former President Goodluck Jonathan has expressed his readiness to return to the classroom if offered such opportunity, especially at the Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, Port Harcourt. Jonathan disclosed this yesterday while speaking at the 35th and 36th combined convocation ceremony of the Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, Port Harcourt where he was conferred with  “Icon of Democracy” award. The former president, who left office in 2015, expressed gratitude to the institution for the honour done to him. Possible coup ongoing as Niger Republic's presidential residence is sealed off by soldiers

Reports suggest that a coup attempt is possibly ongoing at the presidential palace in Niamey, on July 26.   It's been reported that the official residence of Nigerien President Mohamed Bazoum was sealed off by the elite Presidential Guard. AFP reported that why the action was taken is yet to be disclosed.   Although Bazoum's official presidential complex in Niamey was sealed off, there was no abnormal military deployment or sounds of gunfire in the area, and traffic is normal.   The landlocked West African state has been one of the most coup-prone nations in the world, with four since its independence from France in 1960, not to mention several attempted coups. The last successful one was in February 2010, overthrowing the president at the time, Mamadou Tandja.   Bazoum was democratically elected in 2021 and considered a close ally of France.
